We live in a wi-fi world where we can stay connected anytime, anyplace. And it's not just the way our devices are made. We are actually made that way—created to connect to something or someone.
By design, Christ made us to be wired into a community. WIRED Ministries is a place to plug in and find the constant connection we're craving with Christ, others and the church. Events feature weekly Bible study and worship, fun activities, trips, mission opportunities and more.
Jim Storms - Minister to Young Single Adults
The man. The mystery. The Aggie.
Jim was born in Austin, Texas—and yet he's a die-hard Aggie at heart. Truly, he is a complex human being. During the week, Jim is at Green Acres, serving young singles as he has done for years. But if it's sunny and the water is smooth, he's likely behind a Ski Nautique, making waves on the lake.
He has a passion for seeing young single adults know Christ and experience Christian community and find God's purpose for their lives. He loves change and he's always looking for new ways to connect faith and real life in the real world.
Jim has a creative background in media and graphic arts, creating short films for WIRED which he makes in his free time with a very expensive toy with blinking lights. He and his wife, Chandra have one daughter.
WIRED for Relationships
We're all about knowing Jesus and each other...
By design, we're wired to know Christ. Through small group studies, you learn how to study the Bible and Christ's teachings for yourself—so you can really begin to live what you believe.
We're also wired for relationships with each other. Almost every week of the year, we get together to have fun and hang out at a local venue...that usually involves food!
